Disclaimer: Listen up: last night I gather the creators for every show I wanted to write for and asked them to sell me the rights to their shows. After I got laughed out of the room *sniff* I got the feeling that they still weren't mine.

Sam wanted to regret telling Faith. He honestly and truly did. Because if he never opened his big mouth (he had to smile as he remembered Faith saying what big mouths were good for) then she'd be here with him, in his arms, making fun of Dean.

It's kind of funny how much he misses that.

He wanted to regret following not following Dean's advice and wait for her to open up first. Thing was, girls like her never did. Not even in those cliched "we're all gonna die" moments.

He misses that about her too.

Sam wanted to regret the pain this causes too. Not just for him, but for Dean too, who seemed to mourn the lost of one of his favorite hunting partners and friends. Of course Dean never said that, letting anger at the girl who broke Sam's heart take priority over the girl who broke a portion of his.

But Sam can't regret it. The look of wonder in Faith's eyes when he told her that he loved her trumps everything in the end. He never felt anything like the feeling he got knowing he put that look in her eyes.

Even if she left during that same night.

“You have to go to the Roadhouse Faith.” Willow said tiredly.

“Why? B does just fine when she goes there now.” Faith pointed out.

“But not with Ellen. She'll talk to you.”

Faith flicked her lighter open . “Yeah I'm not to sure about that now.”

“Why?” When Faith said nothing, Willow bit her lip. “Does it have to do with that Sam guy?”

Faith eyes snapped up to meet Willow's. “What do you know about Sam?”

“He called a few days after you came back.”Willow explained. “He thought something had happen to you.”

Willow studied Faith. She had never seen the slayer look as drained or as hopeful as she did at that moment. She knew then that Faith was in love. It was weird really. She never thought what Faith would be like in love. Being confronted with it threw her off for a moment.

“Can I guess what happened?” Willow ventured.

“Nothing.”

“Does it involve your 'get some get gone' theory?”

Faith looked at Willow. “I'm going to hit you.”

“You're reformed.” Willow said dismissively.

Faith raised an eyebrow “That means I won't kill you.”

Willow smiled as she patted Faith on the knee. “It's not too late to go back and say that you made a mistake.”

Faith stood up and stretched. “There's no mistake Red.”

“Okay .” Willow agreed. “But if you go, I won't do this whole 'talk about your emotions thing' for a whole 3 months.”

“...”

“Faith?”

I'm only doing it because you'll leave me alone..”

Willow wisely chose not to say anything to that.

There was a reason Faith had rules. Because life had screwed her over enough to get the fucking point thanks. Her rules got her into stuff out of times but it had more often saved her ass.

So the fact that she was willing to set them aside for Sam was huge deal.

And of course, she was right. She stood there at the door watching Sam, tender, innocent (at least compared to her), compassionate Sam, flirting with a girl whose tits were as fake as B's hair color.

Faith always said that when it came down to it, men were all the same animal. She should be thanking Sam for the reminder.

She turned to leave just to bump into someone she wanted to see even less. “Sneaking out again.”

Faith sighed. “It's what I do best.”

Dean laughed but there wasn't mirth. “Well don't let me stop you. At least you grew a conscience where ever you took off to, taking off before ripping his heart out again”

“Fuck you Winchester.” Faith said as she pushed past him.

“Bye sweetheart. I really wish I could say it was fun seeing you again but that'll be a lie.”

The door closed after him and Faith turned around. Dean would see her again. Sam too for that matter.

She strolled in the bar, careful not be seen Sam until she got a drink in her.

Then she'd really have some fun.

Sam pushed away from Amber, a forced shy smile playing on his lips. She giggles and Sam knows that she thinks that either he's playing hard to get or that he's genuinely too shy to go after. The fact that he's not interested doesn't enter her mind. Faith would say that it's because the silicone is leaking into her brain.

Amber walks away with an extra sashay in her hips but Sam isn't looking. He only really wants one woman even if he knows he shouldn't.

“Dude I can't believe you're thinking about Faith when you have that willing to get naked for you.” Dean shook his head as he drank his beer. “Chick isn't worth it man.”

Sam turned his head away, not ready to have this argument again with his brother. He knew that Dean meant well but he just did get it. Sam felt better when he was with her. Faith might not have been perfect but she was-

-dancing next to the jukebox with a bunch of guys.

Sam stood, wanting to be sure, but there she was, wrapping one guy around her while pulling another to her and still managing to down a beer.

How he gets from his seat to pulling her away from them is a blur only broken when he hears her call out “call me.” His grip around her wrist tightens at the thought.

“What was that?” Sam asks quietly.

Faith's eyes dance with amusement and anger as she smiles. “It's called a good time Sammy. Sure Anna Nicole over there can show you what it means.” She turns and nods at Dean. “Deano”

“Bitch,” he responds in kind.

And for some reason, that's when it clicks. “You're jealous.”

Her head turns so quickly towards him that he's sure only slayer abilities kept her from falling. “Excuse me?”

“Faith-”

“I don't do jealous.” She tells him. Her voice is low and dangerous and Sam has never been more sure that's he right. He presses on anyway.

“Why are you doing this?” it's louder than he normally would talk but he has two months worth of anger, depression and confusion pouring out of him right then.

Faith deflates a bit and Sam can see emotions warring behind her hooded eyes. He waits for her to say something but isn't surprised when she doesn't.

“I don't know why I'm pushing this.” Sam says, shaking his head. “Maybe Dean was right and I just need to forget you.”

Faith's hand shoots out before he finishes his sentence and Faith pulls him close. “Don't.”

“Don't what?”

Faith doesn't answer him, instead choosing to kiss him. She wraps around him as if she needs something only he can give and Sam rather likes that idea.

“Much as I love to see the porno action, I don't think this is that type of bar.” Dean's voice breaks the spell and Faith pulls back just enough to flip him off.

“Your hotel nearby?”

Sam nods and is thankful that they walked here. For some reason he doesn't want to give Faith a chance to change her mind.

“The let's get out of here.” Faith pulls him behind her, almost a tornado in her movements and all Sam can do is smile.
